|Brittish people drink tea with milk, that everybody knows. Some of them also train martial arts. Chinese martial arts came earlier to England than to many other European contries due to the collonisation of Hong Kong. Even though not many people knew chinese kung fu in the fifties and the sixties. This becourse of the nature of chinese tradition not to teach forigners or outsiders. One of the first who had the opportunity to learn from them was Brian Jones. His upstanding martial arts career commenced in 1951 and Grandmaster Brian has studied tirelessly since that time. Among his many instructors are several icons of martial arts, including Sensei Fuji (Judo), Professor Tatsuo Suzuki 8th Dan Hanshi (Wado Ryu Karate Do), the late Dr Leung Fu (Kuntao and Tai Chi Chuan), Master Greco Wong (Wing Chun), and Grandmaster Rene Latosa ( Latosa Escrima).
In november 2007 Grandmaster Brian was here in Malmoe again to teach Tai Chi Chuan. With him as always Guru Ricky, his junior diciple which have been with him now for sixteen years. As always we are happy to have them here. Under the seminarweekend the focus was on the long handform "endless river". Many student in Sweden have know completed the first section which contains 24 movements. Here are some photos from the event.
